Putting Vision in the National Spotlight

Transitions lenses have been designated the Official Eyewear of the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour, and Transitions Optical is the title sponsor of the Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight the PGA TOUR event at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. Transitions also sponsors Canada’s only PGA TOUR event, the RBC Canadian Open. But these initiatives are about more than golf – they are about giving vision the attention it deserves. With events taking place everyday during the tournament, as well as a golf commercial running during tournament broadcasts, Transitions is putting vision in the national spotlight.

Transitions adaptive lenses are also ideally suited to the sport of cycling. The athletes of Team Garmin-Cervélo – the elite American-based professional cycling team – compete over hundreds of miles per day, continuously going through different lighting conditions. Training and racing with Transitions lenses and Transitions SOLFX sun lenses will give the team a true technological advantage that will enhance their visual quality and provide them with comfortable vision, protected from changing light and UV rays.
